Beyond his reputation as a singer among the San Diego R&B music circuit, Chauncey offers a versatile and vibrant sound as a rapper and lyricist.
Growing up, music was a major influence for Maynor. His passion for singing and composing lyrical escapades were inspired by artist such as Stevie Wonder, Wale, Musiq Soulchild, J. Cole and Lauryn Hill. During his time in high school Chauncey was heavily involved school choirs and won many local talent shows, which only fueled his passion for performing. His work ethic and commitment the craft has cultivated his voice and shaped him into the Singer and song writer that he is today.
Through the years Maynor has performed at numerous events in the San Diego and Los Angeles areas. His performances range from The Encanto Street Fair and The Los Angeles Black Business Expo, to The Dream Party 2 featuring Bad boy recording artist B5 and Interscope recording artist I-15. Chauncey has also had the pleasure of opening concerts for Chante Moore and Kenny Latimore.
